Ivy Hudson

After discovering her love for dance, Ivy trained in ballet, jazz, and lyrical at The Ballet Barre. She also has over a decade of musical theater performance experience, serving as dance captain and assistant choreographer in several productions. Among her favorite performance credits are the productions of Beauty and the Beast and Newsies at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, where she was featured as an ensemble dancer. Ivy has taught in studios, musical theatre workshops, and elementary schools, where she's had the joy of sharing the art of dance with students of all ages.

In May 2026, Ivy graduated with highest honors from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has worked as an assistant preschool teacher and also as a musical theater instructor, where she introduced actors to stage performance and character building. 

In every class, she highlights the importance of helping young dancers build confidence and grow as individuals while exploring their creativity through movement. With passions for childhood education and dance, she looks forward to creating a supportive, fun, and encouraging environment for every dancer, and she can't wait for another great year at KDC!
